I'm Alejandra, a director, creative and storyteller from Queens, New York by way of Colombia. I graduated from Tisch School of the Arts at NYU, and since then I've had the opportunity to collaborate with brands like Uber, Google, Netflix, NFL, Peloton and more.
I have a background in visual and fine art, which gives me a unique perspective on design and aesthetics. Recently, I was selected as one of the five finalists for the "Finish The Script" grant presented by Dolby Labs and I completed my second animated short film, Shipped Out. I was also a semi-finalist for Paxeros' Women of Color Commercial Directing Initiative and a finalist for the Emerge Filmmaking Lab in collaboration with Little Ugly, Dolby, and Vimeo. I also had the honor of being selected as a participant in the Women in Film INSIGHT program, which is a year-long development program aimed at women of color. Additionally, I was one of the nine out of 350 applicants to be a part of 72andSunny's creative residency in Los Angeles.
If you're looking for a fresh perspective and a unique voice, let's chat! I'm always open to hearing about new projects and working with new people.
